Obviously these are not based off of GW Raptor models for Chaos. I’m not a big fan of how those look and metal models are much harder to work with. I built my Raptors from a Space Marine assult squad with additional bitz from a CSM box, Iron Warrior upgrade bitz and Chaos Knights (fantasy range).
I have decided to use the GW Iron Warrior shoulder pads for my entire army both because I like the looks of them and I don’t like using decals.

Hey man, just found this on the web when looking for some raptor conversion because I’m a little lost on how to make them. Glad I found these guys and this site, the stuff I’ve seen so far is excellent and I hope you keep up the excellent work.
they are good but 1 of them has a bare head and it looks much to human and you might want to work on painting faces as this is very poor but on the whole the squad looks good

#Gideon: Hope the pictures helped to inspire you. I really like using the plastic sets as there are so many interchangeable pieces from all sorts of sets. Send me a link to your project so I can check it out.
#jamie: Thanks for the compliment. Is there something wrong with them looking too human? Perhaps if I was playing one of the other traitor legions I would need to worry more about mutations and such but fluff-wise the Iron Warriors are abhor the taint of Chaos and due what ever they can to remove any mutation, thus they are more closely resemble the still loyal Space Marines.
is it just me or do three people there have plasma pistols because i’m pretty sure games wise thats not legal.
@Marcus: you can upgrade two with plasma pistols and then give the champion a plasma pistol as well. I’m not sure, but I think you can do this with regular marines as well.
