I realized that I had no posting of my Basilisk Squad. I present the Moirae:

The Moirae Basilisk Tank Company of the 14th Grand Company

These tanks were from a great prize give a way at the local Games Workshop Store. They have made a great addition to the 14th Grand Company and inspired me to build up a full traitor guard army (coming soon!).  Atropos won a mini golden demon award at the local battle bunker and the full squad won a painting competition at the local store. They have also served the War Smith well in two  Apocalypse games raining death upon the foes.

The local Games Workshop store had their monthly painting competition on Sunday for three categories: single vehicle, supper heavy and vehicle squad. The 14th was represented by a defilier (which i still need to get a picture up of!), the Baneblade and Basilisk squad (I have the pictures but need to post them!). There were some great entries but the  Baneblade and Basilisk won! The devilier was beat out by a great look Ork Truck. I really enjoy the painting competitions because not only do my models get to be looked at a bit closer than normal, but I can look at other peoples works and enjoy their skills.

So i’ve been a bit lax on this project (well at least posting on this project!) but I did get DISQUS added and working. DISQUS is a third party app that allows uses to easily comment at various sites while maintaining a single avatar.

So I haven’t had much updates as of late, but that is not to say I haven’t been working hard on my 14th Grand Company. I’ve spent a great deal of this last two weeks building what may be a great center piece for my army: a titan! If found plans for a warhound titan on the bwc-archive yahoo group and so far have the main hull built with both shoulders. I’ve mostly used plastic sheets and strips with a few odd bitz from GW. Pictures will be coming soon!

I know I haven’t updated lately but I have been busy painting and building. Since my last update I have built another troop squad (this with 2 meltaguns), a Defiler, three Rhinos and 5 Terminators (it has been a while!). The troops are halfway painted, the defiler and rhinos are finished, and the terminators haven’t been primed. Any way I was looking back at my previous posts and most the pictures came out way too dark to see the details. When I bust the camera out for this next batch I will probably re-take some of the pictures.
