Broken Paintbrush

Well after laying in the hospital off and on the last three weeks it has been a bit hard to get work done on the 14th. Before going in I mostly finished my terminators and started my traitor guard army.

I now have 4 troop squads built with flamers, vox and mob leader and two squads of lascannon teams. Next to build are the two platoon command squads and the company command squad to give me a legal army close to 500 points. I’m going to try my hand and batch painting with this army and paint all 60 some troopers at the same time and hopefully have at least one platoon done in time for a local painting competition in two weeks. Pictures of the hoard of grey will be coming soon.

Work on the Iron Warriors will continue between painting large mobs IG. Next up will be repainting my Berzerker squad. I’ve won many games because of this squad and it is high time to give them a better paint job. I’ll make sure I do some before and after with this squad and show how great orange cleaner is for stripping paint.

Finished up another troop squad of Chaos Space Marines for my Iron Warriors. This squad is wielding two melta-guns and led by a crazy, plasma gun and power fist loaded champion.

Although this makes the champion a bit on the expensive side, he is invaluable when it comes to taking out armored dudes, armored tanks, or monstered fools.

Unlike my other troop squad, these guys are fully finished. The icon needs no extra painting and the XIVs are all done.
