@Paul: converting the basic troops wasn't too difficult, it was more of a kit-bash than anything. The only real modification I made to the models was scraping off all the aquilas. GW keeps coming out with great plastic kits that have all sorts of crazy bitz, I somethings buy a unit just to scavenge its sprues!

@73rd: There is something about taking all the individuals and bringing them together that feels good. I know what you mean about the number of models! I have about 3k of Iron Warriors and I easily outnumber them with my traitor guard already!

Thanks for all the complements guys!

They look absolutely brilliant all together! I have about 1500 points of DAs now and literally 1/3rd of the number of models! Damn the Guard being able to cram all those numbers in to such a nice amount of points. Really nice work, one of the nicest armies I have seen to date

Incredibly thematic and consistent! I'm impressed with the amount of work that must have gone into converting (or would corrupting be a better word?) all those Guard units to the side of Chaos.

thanks guys! It's a nice change to build and paint non-power armor guys. I'm taking them all to the local GW this weekend and will hopefully get some more pictures of them in "action"

@Max: Since the IG codex doesn't allow just the CC to be in carapace (the full squad or nothing) he is just a badass until I get a full squad in armor.
